Golden Goose Sneakers Review
I came across the Golden Goose brand when I was in Paris while at first, this brand does not catch my attention until I realised their sneaker is actually pretty cool. I was told that Golden Goose sneakers are hard to break in and not very comfortable, so I never tried them. They’re also $600+ sneakers and I felt like I couldn’t justify spending that much money on a pair of sneakers. However, Golden Goose sneakers have become so popular that I decided I needed to try them and review them so I could share my findings with you.
The iconic Golden Goose sneaker is the Superstar and the dirty looks. The Golden Goose sneaker uses a special technique to scuff, scrape, and distress the leather giving each pair a unique look… no two pairs are exactly the same since they are hand made and hand distressed.
Frankly speaking, I don't find it uncomfortable I love Golden Goose sneakers as you can wear year-round, no matter how hot or cold it is, and no matter where you live. I have worn these shoes in both summer and winter now and love them for both. If you’re going to spend $600 on a pair of sneakers, you better be able to wear them year-round and you definitely can with the golden goose.
In addition, each of the sneakers has the Golden Goose brand name situated on each side in gold lettering. The laces are a contrasting grey colour that stands out effectively against the otherwise solid white body of the shoe. My particular pair has a deep burgundy red colour on the heel area, whilst the star shape is a pale grey shade. Each pair is hand distressed and dirty, adding to that exclusive touch.
In short, Golde Goose sneakers is easy to match with any outfit such as jeans or pants. It looks pretty cool and street smart and best for your OOTD
