Hotel Review: Royal Garden Hong Kong

Royal Garden Hong Kong is a luxurious 4-star hotel in downtown Tsim Sha Tsui with enviable rooftop views and a sky pool over the harbour.

Royal Garden Hong Kong consists of 420 rooms and 48 suites and is all equipped with air conditioning, satellite TV, a minibar, and a refrigerator. Security safes are large enough to hold a laptop.

Getting Here

69 Mody Road, Tsim Sha Tsui East Hong Kong. Nearest MTR Tsim Sha Tsui

The hotel’s communal areas were very decadent, with glass lifts, plenty of greenery, and private balcony entrances to each room overlooking the main dining area. The interior design is quite similar to Marina Bay Sands Singapore where the communal areas are in rectangle size.

The room featuring imported grey or beige marble, wall-size mirrors with gold frames, and unique statues decorating the shower or toilet alcoves, the bathrooms are both functional and enticing (especially the deep soaking tubs that have their own private TV). This is really amazing.

Starting at 330 sqft for the standard rooms and going up to a comfortable 1,180 sqft in the suites, the rooms are pleasantly larger and more open than other big-city hotels. I really love Royal Garden Hong Kong.

In addition, with flat-screen TVs, complimentary Wi-Fi, bathroom products, and more, the rooms have custom-designed three-layer mattresses made just for the Royal Garden Hong Kong hotel.

On top of that, suites come with a private dining room and sitting area, a large bedroom complete with intricate silk tapestries over the bed and a marble bathroom with a giant soaking tub flanked by expansive windows overlooking the bay. Love it!

After a day of wandering around Hong Kong, the reward of the rooftop pool was so inviting. The pool is not big but the decor and design are pretty ancient. The fitness centre just beside the pool and after the swim, you can go to the sauna area to relax and rejuvenate.

My Final Verdict

Given the size and with an outdoor sky pool, it is worth staying at Royal Garden Hong Kong. The price is also not expensive for a 4-star hotel.
