NYC Most Instagrammable Boutique Hotel
Arlo NoMad, the award-winning 2020 Travel + Leisure World’s Best Top 15 Hotels in New York City (NYC).
Arlo NoMad, located in the Midtown Manhattan NYC, a short walk from the Empire State Building and Madison Square Park, features 250 modern micro guest rooms (150 square feet). With city and sky views, each efficiently designed room includes complimentary Wi-Fi, Blind Barber bath amenities and custom walnut furnishings.
With the average room size measuring a mere 150 square feet, the Arlo NoMad is a boutique hotel where you won't find any grand suites or spacious upgrades. But for travellers who plan to spend most of their days exploring the city, or are looking to meet and mingle with other young professionals and travellers, this is a worthy option. On top of that, Arlo NoMad includes a coworking space that allows freelancers to work in the space.
"Traveller's Choice 2020, Best of The Best"
The hotel expertly mixes the nostalgia of hanging out with friends in dorm room common areas, or at hostel bars, but with a much more sophisticated feel to best suit young professionals, couples, and business travellers.
Keeping with the feel, entry-level rooms here start at $189 for twin bunk rooms. But it's certainly worth upgrading to at least the basic Queen Room, especially since some nights those rooms start at just $109. However, those prices do jump into the mid-$300s during the popular fall season.
You can also visit the Arlo Roof Top to enjoy panoramic city views, inventive cocktails and an approachable atmosphere, 31 stories in the sky on the rooftop of Arlo NoMad. The lounge atmosphere is perfect with stunning Manhattan city views day or night, and the infamous “skywalk” glass floor installation provides for an unforgettable NYC photo opportunity.
Along with breathtaking views of the New York City skyline and neighboring cityscape, A.R.T. NoMad offers a dynamic cocktail program and a selection of Middle Eastern-inspired snacks.
Due to COVID-19, Arlo Nomad also provides meeting rooms and transforms their room into Arlo Office, the work from the hotel concept. You can opt for a short-term stay from Monday - Friday, 8AM-6PM from $45 onwards while or the long-term stay, a min 7 days and max 29 days.
If you like a coworking space environment, there are two different coworking spaces found just above the lobby. The main one is a light and airy space with floor-to-ceiling windows, comfy leather couches with throw blankets, oversized chairs, and a long wooden table where multiple people can set up shop on their laptops.
I love this boutique hotel so much as I can enjoy the city view in the downtown. Not only that, this hotel is not costly and provides a comfortable stay.
