Order Bak Kwa Online

Chinese New Year is around the corner and Bak Kwa is the most popular Chinese New Year snack in Singapore.

This year’s Chinese New Year will be slightly different as some Bak Kwa stores are moving their sales online due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Due to COVDI-19, many Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) started to go online or eCommerce to sell their products online to follow the safe distancing and crowd control measurement by the Singapore government.

Lim Chee Guan is the most popular brand in Singapore, as proven by how its website was down for days right after it announced that pre-orders are available online. During that time of the year, Lim Chee Guan’s Chinatown outlet can be seen sporting long queues of eager customers waiting to get their hands on the fragrant Bak Kwa.

While their pre-order site is still down due to overwhelming response, fret not as stocks are still available. All updates will be announced via their Instagram and Facebook page.

With no 3rd party delivery vendor, the only way you can get their signature Bak Kwa is to pop by any of their 4 outlets in Singapore. Currently, there are 4 outlets in Singapore; 203 New Bridge Road, People’s Park Centre Complex, Ion Orchard and Jewel Changi Airport.

My favourite brand is Lim Chee Guan. The bbq meat from Lim Chee Guan is soft and chewy. It has a nice sweet taste that is complex to your palate. It's something that once you start eating, you find it hard to stop.
